I'm so busy checking our families' blogs that I forgot all about our blog. I'm sure others have forgotten about our blog too since nothing new ever gets posted! We've had a lot of new things going on and we have a lot to be thankful for.
Kaiser Ray was born....10 weeks early. Yeah Kaiser!! You made it in time before 2009 came to a close! You are adorable and we are thrilled to have you join our family. Paisley and Ada will have so much fun with you.
Spring is finally here, but it feels like winter! Come on sunshine and warm weather!!
My next post will hopefully be sooner than the last and maybe even some pictures. I'm soooo behind!

We love this Grandparent role

So, Ada Jean was born on August 18th. She's a beautiful baby girl and we love her so much! She just snuggles in when you hold her.
We are so blessed to have 2 sweet little granddaughters.
Very, very blessed

and another!!

If you think you'll NEVER be a grandparent, be patient.
Before you know it, you may find yourself surrounded!
We are not exactly "surrounded", BUT we are not only waiting for a grand-daughter to be born in about 3 weeks, but we just found out that another grandchild will arrive next spring. Paisley, I hope you are ready to be the big sister, the oldest cousin and mentor. You have your job cut out for you and I know you will be wonderful!! At times you will love being the oldest and other times you won't.
Keep in mind, no matter where you are placed in the family, you are special. Whether you are the first born, last, middle or middle of the middle....you are unique and no other is exactly like you. God knows everything about you.
You have a purpose, you have your own talents, and path that you will walk unlike any other person has ever walked. Not one is more loved than the other, not one is more special than the other. Each is loved the same.
I cannot wait to spend time with our grandchildren, getting to know each one.
What a blessing!

Babies, Babies, Babies

Soon we will experience the birth of our new Grand-daughter. What a joy!
We are looking forward to the new addition to our family, enjoying the world of being a grandparent.
We look forward to our time together to share holidays, birthdays, & school days, laughter & tears, play & work.
I try to picture her, then tell myself to be patient and wait for that special moment when I look at her. I KNOW it will be wonderful to see her and welcome her into the world with the open, loving arms of a grandparent.
It will be another miracle.
A blessing from God.
